An earthquake measuring 7.8 on the Richter Scale struck Pakistan's Balochistan province on Tuesday evening, and its tremors were felt in Delhi, the National Capital region, and in some parts of North India.
The quake hit Balochistan at 4:29 p.m. local time (around 5 p.m. IST). Its epicenter was located 145 kilometers south-south east of Dalbandin in Balochistan.
According to a Geo TV report, the earthquake lasted for about two minutes. There were unconfirmed reports of some casualties, and damage to property. Further details are awaited.
