Bollywood actress Kangana Ranaut walked the ramp for designer Anju Modi's collection titled "Manikarnika" on Day Two of the Shree Raj Mahal Jewellers India Couture Week.

Manikarnika is a woman of the past, reborn in the present. A woman of today, yet her heart still belongs to the centuries past; Manikarnika's reincarnation is a re-visitation, an ode to what existed before.

The 'Fashion' star looked stunning in a beautiful heavily embroidered Lehenga designed by Anju Modi, as she turned showstopper for the designer.

Speaking at the show, Ranaut praised Anju for her fabulous collection and said, "I was telling Anjuji today that you are changing the face of fashion in Bollywood, because I think Bollywood today is very much inspired by western way of dressing up or fashion. And, it's nice to have designers like Anju to discover and go way back in our past and bring out the fashion and tradition and culture and to come up with this in a very fresh concept like Manikarnika."

The color palette mirrors the earthy, sepia tones like sand, old rose reminiscent of the centuries past. The rich jewel tones of burgundy, ruby, emerald, add the plushness of luxury.

Manikarnika is a journey, a peek back in time and to relate with the now.
