In the era where almost every Bollywood actor is trying his hands in directing, Rahul Dev thinks that directing is not his cup of tea.

The 47-year-old actor, who will be soon seen in a psychological thriller directed by Mukesh Jadav, said in a recent interview with ANI, "Directing, not at all because it is too tough to direct. I have come back after a hiatus of three years, I didn't work for three years because of my personal reasons my partner she had cancer, parenting etc. But, now I am extremely busy. I have got decent number of films like 'Dishoom' and a film with Eros. I am happy with the space in which I am right now and I am enjoying acting."

He added, "When a person directs he needs to think about all the characters and needs to give at least two years for scripting which is too much for me."

Further, talking about the psychological thriller that also stars Shreyas Talpade and Makarand Deshpande in the lead roles, Rahul said that he plays the role of a Patriarchal head of the family of three brothers, who have lost their father at a young age.

The film is being presently shot in Manali.
