Blaming the Prime Minister for the upheaval in Gujarat, Congress vice-president said here today that the backlash was a result of "Modi's anger" .

"Anger has never helped anyone except Modiji. It has never done any good for the poor in Gujarat or the farmers." said Rahul Gandhi commenting on the protests in Gujarat started by Hardik Patel.

"Congress party is an ideology. Removing a few hoardings and banners won't change the love people have for Congress," he said hinting at the recent political outburst against the display of Congress flags in Srinagar.

Rahul Gandhi is on a two-day visit to the state of Jammu and Kashmir.
