The Congress Party on Wednesday rubbished the Bharatiya Janata Party's claim that party vice-president Rahul Gandhi's three day visit to Jammu and Kashmir was a photo opportunity and an attempt to 'politicise' the border issue.
"It is not about photo opportunity or any kind of publicity, Rahul ji has always been keen to visit the people, who are suffering from difficulties and it is not something new," Congress spokesperson Meem Afzal told ANI.
Commenting on the letter written by Delhi's Deputy Chief Minister Manish Sisodia to Lieutenant Governor Najeeb Jung, Afzal said, "I don't think, they (AAP) are going to leave the politics of confrontation. They have talked to the PM, therefore, they should have waited for an answer.
