Ferrari driver Kimi Raikkonen has reportedly lashed out at critics, who claim that the racer lacks motivation given his disappointing start in this Formula One season, and said that it has got 'f***' all to do with that.
Raikkonen, who has scored just 11 points in the four Grand Prix races to date and lies at the 12th place in the Formula One standings, said that he does not know why the critics always come up with motivation, because if he did not have it he would not have been there.
Raikkonen, who is famous for his ability to coax amazing speed from any kind of Formula One car, finished at the eight place at Sunday's Chinese Grand Prix, 50 seconds adrift of teammate Fernando Alonso who finished in at the third place, the Mirror reported.
The 2007 world champion said that he has had bad races unfortunately, but that is what happens sometimes.
The Finn said that his aim is to improve, adding that there is a lot of hard work to do.
Raikkonen said that Ferrari has not had a single race this season where they have been happy with everything, adding that things have been difficult so far, but once they get more mileage they can work things out.
Raikkonen is placed at the 12th position in the Formula One championship, while his teammate Alonso is placed at the third position, the report added.
