Railway tracks blown up by Maoists in Bokaro

In Jharkhand, Maoists have blown up a stretch of railway track in the state's Bokaro district on Thursday morning disrupting train services.

The rebels exploded ten bombs at separate places in Giridih Lok Sabha constituency where polling is underway.

According to police, all the security and polling personnel are safe and polling is continuing unaffected.

Superintendent of Police Jitendra Kumar Singh said that the rebels damaged the tracks between Dania railway station in Bokaro and Jageshwar station of Bihar under South Eastern Railway disrupting train services.
