Railways says no casualty in derailment of goods train

The Railways has said that 20 wagons of a goods train were derailed between Mugalsarai -Gaya section which is a part of Delhi-Howrah Grand Chord section, on Wednesday morning but there was no casualty.

"Twenty wagons of a goods train were derailed between Mugalsarai -Gaya section which is a part of Delhi-Howrah Grand Chord section. As a result of derailment of goods train there has been no casualty and injury . The traffic has been blocked both upline ,downline and reversible lines,"said Director General (PR) Railways.

He further adde : "Mugalsarai's station division railway manager has reached the site .Our accident relief train with crane and technical staff has also reached the accident site."

 

At around 3:55 AM on Wednesday, 20 wagons of a goods train, which was passing through Mughalsara and going towards Dhanbad got derailed in Kaimur.
