Rain plays spoilsport in Rio Open

Rain washes out all the seven matches during the Rio Open.

Only two matches were able to make it to the tennis court on Monday evening. Federico Delbonis of Argentina is currently leading seventh seed Malek Jaziri of Tunisia 5-3.

Elsewhere, Spanish player Roberto Carballes Baena is leading eighth seed Nicolas Jerry of Chile 4-3.

All the top four seeds will feature in 16 first-round matches.Top seed Dominic Thiem of Austria will take on Laslo Djere of Serbia.

In another match, the defending champion and fourth seed Diego Schwartzman of Argentina will lock horns with former champion Pablo Cuevas of Uruguay.
