The Gujjar Aarakshan Sangharsh Samiti, led by Kirori Singh Bainsla , on Friday continued their agitation in Bharatpur district of Rajasthan, demanding five percent reservation in the Special Backward Classes category under the legal limit of fifty percent.

"I want to tell honourable Vasundhara Raje ji that till today the Gujjar community has been staging protests peacefully but that should not make the government take our demands lightly. If the government does not consider our demands seriously, then the Gujjar community will create havoc in Rajasthan," said a protestor.

"We will not leave the tracks until our demands are fulfilled," added another protestor.

The agitators had yesterday blocked the Delhi-Mumbai railway tracks near Chhokar in Bharatpur, affecting rail traffic and causing inconvenience to passengers.

They had also organised a mahapanchayat at Somgar village in which Bainsla demanded that the government should discuss the issue of reservation with the community leaders.

Earlier, Rajasthan Chief Minister Vasundhara Raje had said that everyone is welcome for talks.
