Union Home Minister Rajnath Singh on Saturday attended the pre-wedding 'tilak' ceremony of Samajwadi Party chief Mulayam Singh Yadav's grand nephew Tej Pratap.
Earlier in the day, Prime Minister Narendra Modi had graced the occasion by his presence.
Tej Pratap is getting married to Rashtriya Janata Dal (RJD) chief Lalu Prasad Yadav's daughter Raj Lakshmi.
Several celebrities and VVIPs are expected to attend the grand wedding ceremony in Saifai, which is the hometown of Mulayam Singh Yadav.
As per reports, round the clock security has been deployed in the village along with smooth traffic movement for the visiting dignitaries.
