Union Home Minister Rajnath Singh on Friday will visit the areas affected by a recent severe storm Bihar.
"Shall visit Bihar tomorrow with a central ministerial team to take stock of the situation in storm affected districts of the state," Singh had earlier tweeted.
The Home Minister will make an aerial survey of the storm-hit areas. He will be accompanied by Union Agriculture Minister Radha Mohan Singh, Union Minister for Communication and Information Technology Ravi Shankar Prasad and senior BJP leader Sushil Kumar Modi.
They will also meet people affected by the storm in the worst hit Purnia district.
Rajnath Singh will also hold meeting with Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar and senior officials to take stock of the situation.
At least 42 people died after deadly storms struck the Patna, Purnia and Madhepura districts of Bihar.
The state government announced an ex-gratia of Rs four lakh for the victims' families.
