Ramdev to give tadka of 'Khichdi'

In a attempt to promote 'Khichdi' as 'Brand India Food', Yoga guru Swami Ramdev on Saturday will give chhonk (tadka) for preparing 1 tonne of the dish at World Food India, Delhi.

As reported, this attempt is to create Guinness World Record.

The making of 'Khidchi' will take place in the presence of Vice President M Venkaiah Naidu and Minister of Food Processing Industries Harsimrat Kaur Badal at India Gate at 12.30 pm.

The three-day long event is set to host a congregation of global investors and business leaders of major food companies from November 3 to 5 in New Delhi.

Earlier in the day, a memorandum of understanding (MoU) of Rs 10,000 crore was signed between the Government of India (GoI) and Patanjali at the event.
