Albert Ramos-Vinolas of Spain on Saturday continued with his impeccable form as he defeated France's Lucas Pouille to book a place in his first ATP World Tour Masters 1000 final at the Monte Carlo Masters.

Ramos-Vinolas kept his nerve to overcome 11 seeded Pouille 6-3, 5-7, 6-1 in two hours and 16 minutes at the Monte-Carlo Country Club.

The Spaniard, who is set to improve on his career-high of No. 24 in the ATP Rankings, will next face either fourth-seeded compatriot and nine-time champion Rafael Nadal or 10th seed David Goffin of Belgium in Sunday's final.

If the 15th seeded Ramos-Vinolas faces Nadal in the summit clash, it would mark only the fourth time in the tournament's history that there has been an all-Spanish title match (2002 Ferrero d. Moya, 2010 Nadal d. Verdasco and 2011 Nadal d. Ferrer).

Competing in his fifth clay-court tournament of the year, the 29-year-old is now 19-11 on the season - the fourth-best match wins tally on the ATP World Tour.
