Randy Jackson reportedly took to Twitter to express his disapproval of his niece, Paris Jackson, being confined in a psychiatric hospital for too long.

The 51-year old American singer wrote that there was no reason for her to be in a psychiatric hospital this long, the New York Daily News reported.

Jackson is suspicious that there is something going on and is afraid for the 15-year old daughter of Michael Jackson.

He is upset as Paris would be spending her father's birthday at the psychiatric facility, away from her family.

But Paris's mom, Debbie Rowe lashed back at the younger brother of the 'King of Pop' saying that he was 'grossly misinformed'.

Last week, Rowe had testified in the wrongful death trial of Michael Jackson that Paris had tried to commit suicide after MJ's fatal overdose.
