Leicester City manager Claudio Ranieri has called on his star players to stay at the club at least for one more year, insisting that the Foxes will be in a 'very high position' in the long run.
On Tuesday, Leicester scripted history by winning their first-ever Premier League title after Tottenham played out a 2-2 draw with Chelsea.
Following their historic triumph, PFA player of the year Riyad Mahrez, top scorer Jamie Vardy and midfield dynamo N'Golo Kante are being approached by top clubs.
However, Ranieri warned his players to be wary of changing the team suddenly, saying that they could underperform at a new club and could slow down if they stay outside the playing 11.
Describing the Champions League as the next target, the Italian manager further stated that he wants to improve the team with the same squad rather than bringing in big players by spending lavishly, the Mirror reported.
Leicester will grab a staggering 93 million pounds from winning the title and will also receive an additional 30 million pounds for securing a spot in the Champions League.
Leicester, who escaped relegation last season and started the current season as 5000-1 outsiders, overcame their underdogs tag to be crowned champions in one of the most remarkable seasons of the football history.
