After his latest video 'Watch Me', Atlanta's Silento has become the new sensation as the rapper has the nation grooving to his beats with his insanely catchy single.

With The track, which is currently No. 3 on the Billboard Hot 100, the 17-year-old rapper has combined viral dance sensations the nae nae, the whip, the stanky leg, the break your legs and the bop, and stirred them into his own mega-hot anthem and dance craze.

Taking that inspiration, 'Watch Me' has become genuinely inescapable. The audio-only video is quickly closing in on 35 million-plus YouTube views, while countless fans and celebrity-generated videos pop up daily on Vine and Instagram totaling nearly 100 million views.

Taking the internet by storm, the video has led to an epidemic of viral fever wherein the fans have been posting their own quirky versions of the whip.

Silento unleashed 'Watch Me' after he felt that he didn't receive enough support from the people in his hometown post performing at a talent hunt in a school.

The upstart, however, believes in bringing a wave of change to the hip hop scene in the world. It is his way of inspiring the people to come together and celebrate the fervor associated with dance.

The song has also officially been certified gold under the RIAA's Digital Singles program.

Silento has also signed his first deal with Capital Records carrying the distinction of being a recording artist with a leading music label.
