Congress leader Rashid Alvi today said that the BJP government would have to follow in the footsteps of the previous government and allow Foreign Direct Investment. Speaking to ANI, Alvi made it clear that if the government wants foreign investment then it cannot close its door on FDI.

The former Rajya Sabha MP also added that Anna Hazare's praise for Narendra Modi was justified if the anti-corrution crusader likes the Prime Minister but otherwise till now the PM has done nothing praiseworthy.

Anna Hazare had on Thursday praised the Modi government by saying that it seemed like good days are here now and criticized Arvind Kejriwal for getting carried away after becoming the Chief Minister of Delhi earlier this year.
