Reserve Bank of India (RBI) Governor Raghuram Rajan met Finance Minister Arun Jaitley on Tuesday soon after the latter assumed charge of his office.
What transpired during the meeting between the two was not known.
Coming out after his meeting, Rajan said: "You will see policies as they are rolled out."
Earlier in the day, Jaitley assumed charge as Finance Minister.
Rajan was appointed as RBI Governor by the erstwhile United Progressive Alliance (UPA) Government last September.
