Real Madrid president Florentino Perez has offered his support to coach Rafa Benitez following his side's embarrassing 0-4 defeat against Barcelona in their La Liga clash.
While backing Benitez, who was also asked to resign, Perez said that the team will give complete support and confidence to the former.
Perez insisted that the team has been struggling since January and the coach needs time to fix things, Sport24 reported.
With their second defeat of the league, Real have slipped down to the third spot, with 24 points from the 12 games which they have played.
Real will now lock horns with Eibar on November 29.
