Tony Blair, who had advised former News of the World editor Rebekah Brooks to 'tough up' and 'be strong' at the height of the phone-hacking scandal, had sent texts to her signed off with 'T x', where x stands for a kiss.
According to the Daily Express, the former UK PM offered support to Brooks as she was involved in the scandal.
Blair had told Brooks through messages that he was "no use at police stuff" but asked her to call him if she was summoned to Parliament because he had "some experience" with it.
He also asked when police planned to interview her and urged her to get a "quality QC".
Brooks had replied to his messages, saying that she was terrified of police who were "behaving so badly".
