Kagiso Rabada made a stunning ODI appearance on his debut by claiming a hat-trick during South Africa's eight-wicket win over Bangladesh in a rain-affected match in Mirpur.
Young speedster Rabada also registered the best debut figures in an ODI by returning figures of 6-16, the BBC reported.
The 20-year-old bettered the previous best of 6-22 by Fidel Edwards in 2003 to bundle the hosts out for 160 in the 37th over.
Subsequently, Faf du Plessis and Rilee Roussow remained unbeaten to steer South Africa to victory and help the tourists lead the three-match series 1-0 by sharing a 99-run partnership.
