Former Pakistan interior minister Rehman Malik has said he is eagerly waiting to see what role Nawaz Sharif would play in bringing peace to the nation through talks with the Taliban.
Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) chief Sharif has been asked to act as the guarantor for peace talks between the Taliban and the army, reports The Express Tribune.
Malik said the Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) would support the new PML-N-led government in war against terror and play a due role of opposition in National Assembly.
