Bernard Tomic's simmering rift with Tennis Australia doesn't appear to be relenting after the player firmly stated that he has no interest in 'clear-the-air' talks until his demands over the funding issues are met by the governing body.
The 22-year-old was axed from the Davis Cup quarter-final against Kazakhstan after unleashing a blistering tirade against Tennis Australia for a lack of support following his Wimbledon exit.
TA withdrew funding from Tomic and his 17-year-old sister in June because of dispute with their father John.
Although Australia recovered from 2-0 down to win the tie 3-2 and set up a semi-final against Britain, TA reached out to the controversial tennis star in an attempt to resolve their differences.
Tomic said that he didn't believe there was any point in a meeting until he was satisfied TA was committed to funding the development of junior Australian talent, including his sister Sara, on a non-discriminatory basis, Sport24 reported.
He further said that he was always ready and willing to play for Australia, adding that he hoped to continue to represent his country.
Tomic also thanked previous TA administrators for their financial support in the past but insisted that he stood by the comments that led to his omission from the Davis Cup.
