Malik made a comeback to the Test fold after a gap of five years when he played the first Test of the three-match series against England in Abu Dhabi.

Speaking on his fitness, the 33-year-old said that he had trained himself and tried hard to maintain his fitness during the gap, the Express Tribune reported.

According to Malik, if a cricketer is physically fit he could easily achieve his goals.

Considering cricket as his passion, Malik said that he would continue to work on his fitness even if he retires.
