Ex-'Power Ranger' Ricardo Medina Jr. will be released from the custody, as no charges have been filed against him for the murder of his roommate, it has been reported.
The Los Angeles County District Attorney's Office has declined to charge the former 'Power Ranger' star with crime, with effect of which prosecutors had to release him, TMZ.com reported.
However, Sheriff's investigators have been asked to dig for more information about the fight of Medina with his roommate, Joshua Sutter, which ended with Medina fatally stabbing Sutter with a sword to death.
The 37-year-old actor claimed that it was just a matter of self-defense. And he had mentioned earlier to the cops that Sutter forced his way into his bedroom before the stabbing took place.
