The Border Security Force (BSF) here on Monday paid rich tributes to its slain soldier Nitin Kumar, who lost his life fighting terrorists during the Baramulla attack last night.
At the wreath-laying ceremony of the slain BSF personnel here he was paid gun salutes.
"He did an excellent job by sacrificing his life to stop terrorists from entering campus of 46 Rashtriya Rifle battalion," Additional Director General of Police, Western Command, BSF, Arun Kumar told ANI.
On Sunday night, heavily-armed militants attacked a BSF and adjoining 46 RR camps in Baramulla district.
The attack came a fortnight after terrorists attacked an army base in Uri, killing 19 soldiers.
