Another RJD leader Ashok Sinha assured that strict action would be initiated against Yadav if he is found to be guilty.

"The DIG has probed the matter and he told that it is the prima facie case of minor rape. But let the court decide what is the matter but if substantial proof is produced by the police and anybody else our party will be very severe in taking action against the concerned MLA," he added.

RJD spokesperson Manoj Jha echoed similar sentiments and said that his party would not tolerate any such crime.

"That goes in line with what we have committed to Bihar and we have shown with our work. In all such cases, immediate arrests have been made; swift investigation has been launched. I think that is how our government should be viewed by our advisory," Jha told ANI here.

Jha further said that the party follows 'zero tolerance' for any kind of crime.

Janata Dal (United) spokesperson Ajay Alok said that such incidents are highly deplorable and added that the guilty must be punished.

"We will not tolerate this and let me assure you that he will be booked and speedy trial will take place," he added while asserting that the Bihar Government is committed to ensure safety of the feminine gender.
