Road show in Panaji promotes International Film Festival of India

Preparations are in full swing for the upcoming International Film Festival of India which will be held here later this month.

The festival will screen 325 Indian and foreign language films during the 10-day event to be held from November 20 to 30.

An 'IFFI 2013' road show started on Sunday (November 10) and will continue till November 19.

"Preparations in IFFI (International Film Festival of India) 2013 are in full swing, we are in the last lap of all the preparatory work and from today the ESG (Entertainment Society of Goa) has launched a road show. The road show will move in the city of Panjim first and then go to other cities and villages of Goa to make awareness about IFFI," said Vice Chairman of Entertainment Society of India's Coastal Goa State, Vishnu Surya Wagh.

 

Wagh added that over 7,000 have already registered as delegates for the 2013 edition of IFFI and the registration would soon cross 15,000 mark since it's the last week before the festival inaugural.

This year 74 countries would participate in the festival in Goa, as compared to 67 who participated in 2012.
