Robert Redford is set to be honored with a Career Achievement Award by the International Documentary Association at its 2014 IDA Documentary Awards.
According to the Hollywood Reporter, the IDA's Career Achievement Award is given to a filmmaker who has had a major influence on the documentary genre.
Redford, who is an actor and a director, also founded the Sundance Institute, which supports documentary filmmakers through its Documentary Film Program.
World of Wonder's Fenton Bailey and Randy Barbato and Cambodian filmmaker Rithy Panh will also be awarded at the ceremony.
