Liverpool boss Brendan Rodgers has warned Premier League title rivals Manchester City and Chelsea that they cannot guarantee a win despite spending millions of pounds on new transfers and wages.
Liverpool has provided the shock of the season with their impressive charge to the top of the table, despite dramatically cutting back on transfer outlay and wage costs.
According to the Mirror, although the Anfield side did not make any signing in the winter transfer window and bought only cut-price squad players last summer unlike the moneyed elite of the league, however, it has not stopped Rodgers from providing such a serious challenge to title favourites City and Chelsea.
Rodgers believes that their approach is about establishing a team philosophy that money cannot buy, adding that success will only come when a club put its ideas in place and help the players crack them, along with proper coaching, man-management and dealing with people.
