Italian football club Roma's coach Rudi Garcia has said that he is confident that their player Daniele de Rossi will stay on at the club this season amid reports that Manchester United has made a bid for the midfielder.
According to Sky Sports, speculation has claimed that the Old Trafford side has offered 10 million pounds to Roma for De Rossi in a bid by boss David Moyes to strengthen his squad before the transfer window closes on Monday.
However, Garcia does not expect to lose De Rossi, who has previously been linked with Chelsea and Manchester City, saying that De Rossi is a big player for Roma and has been with the club for a long time, adding that the player will stay at the club atleast for this whole season.
According to the report, United is also pursuing Athletic Bilbao midfielder Ander Herrera, although Bilbao president Josu Urrutia claimed that a firm bid for Herrera has been dismissed.
The Premier League champions have also put on their radar Everton midfielder Marouane Fellaini before the transfer window shuts, the report added.
