Real Madrid striker Cristiano Ronaldo has said that it would be a dream to play a final in Lisbon as the club faces Bayern Munich during the second leg of Champions League semi-final next week.
Ronaldo is reportedly of the opinion that the club will defeat titleholders Bayern to reach their first Champions League final in 12 years and is even more desperate for Real to make it to the finals, as European football's major showpiece will take place in his homeland Portugal at the Estadio da Luz in Lisbon on May 24.
Ronaldo said that Real has been in four consecutive semi-finals and he feels that this year is the time the club can reach the final, adding that then they will have to think of something even greater.
Ronaldo said that it would be a dream to play a final in Lisbon in front of the Portuguese public, Sport24 reported.
The World Player of the Year said that Lisbon has a great stadium, but prior to that they have a final first on Tuesday, adding that the Real squad is dreaming of being in Lisbon and he feels that they are going to do it.
Real has got a precious 1-0 advantage from the first leg in the Spanish capital on Wednesday when Ronaldo made his return to action after two weeks out due to a hamstring injury, the report added.
