In a move to expand user base across the country with special focus on Tier II and Tier III cities, Roposo- 'TV by the People' social media-application will now be available in Hindi and seven other Indian languages.
Apart from being already available in English, the app will now be available in Hindi, Marathi, Gujarati, Punjabi, Bengali, Tamil, Telugu and Kannada languages.
Roposo's unique concept enables users to simultaneously create and watch content by streaming their diverse stories in an engaging and user-friendly manner.
" We are really proud of our regional languages and there are some expressions whose core emotion cannot be captured perfectly by any other language. Post translation, even our app's features have become easier to understand for users comfortable only in the language of their region," Mayank Bhagadia, CEO and Co-Founder, Roposo said.
By 2022, every 9 out of 10 internet users in India would be using the service in their native language and this will significantly enrich the Roposo platform with unique experiences being shared in a variety of languages of our own land, Bhagadia said.
'TV by the People' app has provided its users with a platform that offers a unique TV-like browsing experience with hands-free scrolling and a full-screen view.
Currently the languages are available to Roposo's android users and the feature will be available to iOS users soon.
