Northern Irish golf ace Rory McIlroy has reportedly been branded as a part time magician for pulling the greatest golf shot of his career.
McIlroy's tee shot from the 14th hole struck a tree before the ball fell straight into a stunned spectator's pocket. The world number one is currently competing at the PGA Tour Championship in Atlanta, Georgia, as he fights for the FedEx Cup and the 6 million pounds prize money that goes with it, The Daily Star reported.
The official twitter account of the tournament said that a new meaning to trick shot by full-time golfer, part-time magician McIlroy as his ball ended up in fan's pocket.
Despite putting himself in a hugely awkward position for his second shot, McIlroy was able to see the funny side of his amazing shot.
The three-time Major winner shared a giggle and a high-five with the lucky spectator, the report added.
