Rosberg tops Hungarian GP's second practice

Mercedes' Lewis Hamilton crashed out early as Formula One leader Nico Rosberg emerged as the fastest driver in the second practice session of this weekend's Hungarian Grand Prix.

The German, who clocked a best lap of one minute and 20.435 seconds, was half a second faster than Red Bull's Daniel Ricciardo in the second place.

Meanwhile,four-time champion Sebastian Vettel of Ferrari was third quickest ahead of Max Verstappen and Hamilton,Sport24 reported.

The race saw Hamilton lose control on Turn 11 on the twisty track as he ended up hitting the barriers side-on.

Earlier, Hamilton had slashed down Rosberg's lead from 43 to just one point after winning previous four races of the ongoing season.
