Andy Murray's former doubles partner Ross Hutchins has revealed that the Scot had helped him a lot in his fight against cancer, along with praising the star for his huge heart.

According to the Daily Express, Hutchins is waiting to hear if he has beaten the disease after being diagnosed with Hodgkin's Lymphoma in December.

The former Davis-cup player said that Andy was amazing and he started researching the illness from the time his problem was recognized, and people wrongly thought of the Scot as a driven, single-minded tennis player.

When the disease first came out, Hutchins put in a long-distance call to the Scot as he prepared for the Australian Open, the report said.

The report added that Murray and Hutchins had met at an international tennis match when they were very young and Andy had been asked to be Ross's best man during his wedding with fiancee Lindsey next year.
