Royal Caribbean International and Mattel have launched a new initiative- a Barbie themed fashion show while aboard.

The event enables big and little girls, between the ages of 4 and 11, to indulge in all Barbie things, the New York Daily News reported.

The royal treatment starts in the stateroom that will be decorated in Barbie's pink signature style - a plush Barbie blanket, colourful Barbie pillowcase, pink toothbrush and toiletries, a Barbie doll with all her fashions and a stylish Barbie tote.

Once the ship set sail it did not matter whether the excursions were Haiti, Jamaica or Mexico as it will be Barbie-time all the time.

Each day a Barbie Girls Onboard Planner will be sent to the room preparing the girls for their Barbie adventure for the day ahead.

Wearing pink tiaras, the girls learn proper etiquette as they drink pink lemonade in place of tea and dined on pink pastries with their Barbie doll by their side.

A Barbie mermaid dance class is another exciting workshop that taught the girls the latest dance moves from the hit movie, "Barbie in a Mermaid Tale 2."

The program that launched in January made its splash on all 22 Royal Caribbean ships in March.

The Barbie Premium Experience is part of The Adventure Ocean Youth Program.

Those who don't sign up for the Barbie fun can still enjoy complimentary Barbie Movie Night, Barbie Story Time, Barbie movies in their stateroom and other free themed activities.
