Prince William and his wife Kate Middleton have recently released three official Christmas photographs of their son Prince George.
The pictures of the third in line to the throne, who is nearly 17 months old now, were taken in November in a courtyard at Kensington Palace, the BBC reported.
Peter Hunt, BBC royal correspondent, said that the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge are releasing the images, in part, as a thank you to the media, who have not published any of the paparrazi pictures that have been taken of the prince.
The couple are said to be grateful that their request for their son to grow up without intrusion continues to be honored.
