Jammu and Kashmir Deputy Chief Minister Nirmal Singh on Friday assured relief from the State Government for the people who were injured in the RS Pura ceasefire violation.

"Injured people are being treated for free. Relief from the State Government will be given," Singh told ANI.

Three civilians were killed and eight others were injured after Pakistani troops violated the cease-fire arrangement along the Line of Control (LoC) again.

At the time of the filing of this report mortar shelling from the Pakistan side was still on and the Border Security Force (BSF) were retaliating accordingly.

The injured have been admitted to hospital and are receiving medical aid.
