Russell Brand has revealed that he is "absolutely not" planning to run for Mayor of London.
The 39-year-old comedian, who is interested in "real change," said that if people want a daft comedian running London, they should just leave the things as they are, as Londoners have already got a comedian who's more known for his hair than his policies, Sky News reported.
Discussing "funny and affable" Mayor of London Boris Johnson, who has got a nice way with him, in the interview, Brand added that this is a time where a lot of Londoners are facing real fear about their homes.
Brand continued that the elected mayor, who was elected to look after people of London, takes five times more meetings with bankers than he does with civil servants, or representatives of the fire brigade, or any ordinary Londoner.
