Popular English comedian Russell Brand is reportedly 'stalking' Barcelona star Lionel Messi after both the celebrities checked in at the same hotel in England.
Brand, in town for a gig at the Manchester Apollo, has tweeted his surprise and apparent excitement that the Barcelona team, who has come for their Champions League clash against Manchester City, will be his 'roommates' at the swanky Lowry Hotel in Salford.
According to the Manchester Evening News, Brand tweeted that it is now time for a 'dribbling competition' as Messi is in the same hotel as him, adding that he is 'stalking' the player and is going to 'pop him in his pocket and take him to Upton Park', the home of West Ham United.
Brand is a West Ham fan so is sure to remain impartial on the result of the Champions League match between Barcelona and City, which takes place at the Etihad Stadium on Tuesday night, the report added.
