The Organization for Security and Cooperation in Europe has been reportedly given the nod by Russia to send an international monitoring team to Ukraine.

Russia's acceptance comes in the wake of continued pressure from all other members of the 57-nation OSCE in Europe, supporting the mission.

According to News 24, the OSCE's 200-strong team will have free access to regions throughout the country and would be allowed to gather information and report on the security situation.

Meanwhile, the OSCE military observers were stopped by Pro-Russian forces from entering Crimea last week.
