Russian tennis star Nikolay Davydenko, 33, has decided to call it a day, making it official at the Kremlin Cup.
A winner of six career titles, who suffered injuries for much of this season, Davydenko said that he was a proud winner of 21 ATP tournaments, including three Masters 1000 events and the World Tour Finals in London, and did not have any regrets about not winning a Grand Slam or not being number one in the world.
Sport24 quoted him, as saying that his physical condition finally forced him to hang up his racquet.
The father of one said he will now focus on a new career in business and finance.
