Eyewitnesses of Malaysian airlines MH17 crash have said that pro-Russian rebels had been operating a BUK missile launcher in Eastern Ukraine where the jet was downed.
According to the BBC, shrapnel damage to the plan signifies use of a fragmentation weapon such as a BUK missile.
Pro-Russian rebels have denied all accusation of using a BUK missile.
However, the photos and videos suggest that they had a BUK missile launcher in the area.
The three witnesses said that they had seen the BUK missile in the rebel-held territory a few hours before the jet was downed.
They also said that they saw the launcher being offloaded.
