ANI Seoul [South Korea]

The South Korean spy agency has found evidences against North Korea in hacking incidents related to cryptocurrency.

According to the Yonhap News Agency, the National Intelligence Service (NIS) has secured evidences against North Korea for stealing personal information of around 30,000 people from the country's biggest cryptocurrency exchange, Bithumb in June.

The other incident was reported in September, when the virtual money was robbed from another exchange, Coinis.

The code used in both the robberies was reportedly the same as the one used by Lazarus, a group accused of being behind the 2014 Sony hack.

The agency has passed on the evidences to the prosecution for further investigation.
