The three-member team by the Registrar of Newspapers in India (RNI) S.M Khan reached the Film and Television Institute of Pune on Friday morning, to resolve the ongoing impasse at the institute.
The students' strike over demand for the removal of TV actor and BJP member Gajendra Chauhan as the chairman entered its 71st day today.
The three-member team will submit a report to the Information and Broadcasting Ministry after carefully asessing the situation at the institute.
Academic activity at the FTII is at a standstill with students being adamant over Chauhan's removal.
