South African cricket players have said that their trip to the Adidas headquarters in Germany was an 'eye-opening' success, with the company staff also giving positive feedback.
According to Sport24, the four players, Graeme Smith, Rory Kleinveldt, Lonwabo Tsotsobe, Morne Morkel, who traveled to the Nuremburg-based outlet to have custom made playing boots designed, were extremely impressed by the state-of-the-art technology used for the testing.
Lonwabo Tsotsobe said that it had been a fantastic experience and as professional athletes, they had the opportunity to be assessed by some of the most advanced machinery in the world.
Rory Kleinveldt said that it was a really interesting and eye-opening experience; with the high-tech labs they had built there.
Adidas' Global VP for Cricket, Simon Cartwright said that the bowlers will really be helped by the correct footwear because they performed an art which was an extremely high impact activity.
