British actor Sacha Baron Cohen has pulled out of Queen frontman Freddie Mercury's biopic over "creative differences".
According to Variety, Cohen's manager confirmed the news of the withdrawal, saying that 'The Dictator' star clashed with producers over the film's tone, the BBC reported.
In 2010, Queen's Brian May had told the publication that Cohen had been working with them on the biopic since they started talking about it seriously with Peter Morgan a couple of years ago.
The upcoming flick looks at the period leading up to Live Aid in 1985 and Mercury's well-known performance.
