Indian cricketing icon Sachin Tendulkar's wife Anjali has said that everybody assumes that the star is only focused with cricket but a lot of things actually go into his mind including superstition.

In an interview with Harsha Bhogle on Star Sports, Anjali revealed that it was not the first time during the Mumbai Test match that Tendulkar touched the pitch dirt in a sign of thankfulness to the ground.

She said that Tendulkar had once done it during a Ranji trophy match and when she asked him if he had done it, the master blaster replied with a witty, 'now you know'.

Tendulkar made 74 runs in what could be his last Test innings and the crowd fell into complete silence as he made his way to the pavilion.

He is playing his 200th and last Test in his home ground of Mumbai.
